Speed skater Isabelle Weidemann brings Canada the first Olympic medal in Beijing

The Canadian Isabelle Weidemann showed a truly fast result of 3:58.64 to claim the bronze in women's 3000m run on Saturday, Feb 5, 2022.

Isabelle Weidemann was behind the Dutch Irene Schouten (3:56.93 OR) and the Italian Francesca Lollobrigida who clocked 3:58.06.
