Costa Rica has a population of about 5.3 million people. The country has seen steady growth over the years, supported by good healthcare and education systems. Most Costa Ricans live in the Central Valley, where San José, the capital, is located. The population is fairly young, though aging is starting to become noticeable as families have fewer children. Immigration from neighboring countries also adds to population diversity. Costa Rica’s focus on sustainability and peace makes it one of the most stable countries in Latin America. Overall, it’s a small but well-balanced and happy population.
