Henry County is situated in the northern part of Illinois. This wonderful county was named after Patrick Henry (1736–1799), American Revolutionary War figure; first and sixth Governor of Virginia. The area of Henry County is about 822 square miles. The county, organized in 1825, is populated today by 49 thousand residents. Cambridge is the county seat of Henry County.
