The Eurozone: which countries use the Euro as their main currency?

Euro is the official currency of the European Union. But the Eurozone has nine EU countries out and some non-EU states in.

First, here s the full list of 19 out of 28 EU coutries that adopted the Euro as their main means of payment. These countries are marked blue on the map.

Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain.

Next, here s the list of four non-EU coutries that use the Euro by a special monetary agreement with the EU. These states are marked green on the map.

Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican City

Finally, here s the list of two non-EU coutries that use the Euro without an agreement. These countries are marked purple on the map.
