Lebanon is a town located in New London County, in the eastern part of Connecticut, approximately 35 miles southeast of Hartford, the state capital, and about 25 miles northwest of New London. Lebanon has a long history dating back to the 17th century when it was originally settled. The town was officially incorporated in 1700. It is known for its historical significance, as it played a role in the American Revolution and is often referred to as the Heart of the Revolution.
