The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) runs the city’s bus system, which covers most major areas. It’s reliable and affordable, especially for commuters and downtown travel. However, Columbus doesn't have a light rail or subway system. Many residents still rely on cars, but biking is increasingly popular thanks to new bike lanes and trails. If you're visiting, Uber and Lyft are widely available, too.
