The Palace of Versailles is massive, with over 2,300 rooms spread across 67,000 square meters (721,000 square feet) of floor space. The entire estate, including gardens and outbuildings, covers about 800 hectares (2,000 acres). It includes structures like the main palace, the Trianon Palaces, the Queen’s Hamlet, and the vast formal gardens. The palace's size and complexity reflect the grand ambitions of the French monarchy. Maintenance and restoration require continuous work by a dedicated team. It is considered one of the largest and most impressive palaces in the world.
