Gaza’s economy is heavily restricted and relies largely on foreign aid, small-scale agriculture, and informal commerce. Due to the blockade, exports are minimal and imports are strictly controlled. Unemployment is among the highest in the world, especially among youth and women. Many families rely on humanitarian assistance for daily survival.
