The lake is approximately 53 kilometers in circumference and 21 kilometers long. It is famous for its historical and religious significance, especially in Christianity. The surrounding region is rich in natural beauty, with hills, beaches, and fertile agricultural land. Visitors come to enjoy boating, fishing, and religious tourism.
