What is the Sea of Galilee?

The Sea of Galilee, also known as Lake Tiberias or Kinneret, is a freshwater lake in northern Israel. It is the largest freshwater lake in Israel and a vital water source for the country. The lake is approximately 53 kilometers in circumference and 21 kilometers long. It is famous for its historical and religious significance, especially in Christianity. The surrounding region is rich in natural beauty, with hills, beaches, and fertile agricultural land. Visitors come to enjoy boating, fishing, and religious tourism.
