Yes, the Statue of Unity is hollow inside, with a reinforced concrete and steel framework supporting its bronze-clad exterior. The hollow design allows for internal spaces that include elevators, staircases, and service areas. Visitors can travel inside the statue to reach the viewing gallery, which is located at 153 meters (502 feet) in the chest area of the statue. This gallery can accommodate around 200 people at once and provides breathtaking views of the Narmada River, the Sardar Sarovar Dam, and the surrounding landscapes. The internal structure is both functional and symbolic, showcasing modern engineering on a massive scale.
