Kashmiri cuisine is rich, flavorful, and seriously tasty. Dishes like Rogan Josh (a spicy lamb curry) and Yakhni (a yogurt-based dish) are must-tries. The region is also famous for Wazwan, which is a traditional multi-course feast that’s a big deal at weddings. On the lighter side, Kashmiri Kahwa tea, flavored with saffron and almonds, is really popular. The food reflects Persian, Central Asian, and Indian influences, making it unique compared to other parts of South Asia.
