Admission is really affordable — usually around five bucks for adults and even less for kids. Sometimes school groups and teachers get discounts or free entry too. The fee helps support the upkeep of the park and its educational programs. You can just buy your ticket right at the entrance, no need to book ahead. Occasionally they run free-admission days or special events with reenactments. Parking around the area might cost extra though, so bring some change for meters. All in all, it’s one of the cheapest and coolest ways to see California’s pioneer past up close.
