How long is the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge?

The total length of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge is about 4,608 meters, including its approach roads. Its main suspended span alone is 2,023 meters, which is the longest in the world. This span is actually longer than Japan’s famous Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. The full structure stretches across the Dardanelles between Lapseki and Gelibolu. The bridge deck is also wide enough to carry six lanes of traffic. Its towers rise over 300 meters tall, making them some of the tallest bridge towers anywhere. All these numbers make it one of the most impressive bridge projects ever built.
