Chichen Itza features several other important structures, including the Great Ball Court, the Temple of the Warriors, and the Observatory (El Caracol). The Great Ball Court is the largest in Mesoamerica and was used for ritual ball games. The Temple of the Warriors is adorned with columns and carvings depicting Maya warriors. El Caracol is an ancient observatory used to track celestial movements. Other notable features include cenotes, or natural sinkholes, which were important for water supply and ritual offerings. Each structure offers insight into the social, religious, and scientific practices of the Maya civilization.
